Hardware Store Return and Refund Policy

At HardwareStore.ae, customer satisfaction is paramount. Understanding that sometimes products may not meet expectations, we have put forth a clear and fair policy for returns and refunds.


Returns

Eligibility

  • You can return items within 14 calendar days of receipt.
  • Items should be unused, in their original condition, and in packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase must accompany the return.

Exceptions

We may decline a return if it fails to meet the criteria mentioned above.


Refunds

Process

  1. After receiving and inspecting your return, we will update you about the status.
  2. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method. The credit timeframe depends on your card issuer’s policies.

Non-refundable Items

Some items are not eligible for return. These include:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Selected health and personal care items

Always check the product listing or get in touch with our customer service for clarity.

Shipping Costs

Customers cover their return shipping charges. These charges are not refundable. If a refund is issued, return shipping costs will be subtracted from the total amount.


Sale Items

Discounted or sale items are not eligible for a refund.


Exchanges

We only accommodate exchanges for defective or damaged items. If you require an exchange for an identical product, email us at you@hardwarestore.ae and forward your item to our Store Address.


Gift Returns

  • If you received an item marked as a gift and sent it directly to you, we’d provide a gift credit equivalent to the return value. Once we process the returned item, a gift certificate will be dispatched to you.
  • In case the gift wasn’t labeled during purchase, or if the giver had it shipped to themselves, the refund goes to the giver. Consequently, they will learn about your return.

Shipping Returns

  • Forward your returns to: {physical address}.
  • If returning higher-value items, consider using a trackable shipping service or obtaining shipping insurance. We can’t assure the receipt of your returned item.

Late or Missing Refunds

  1. Recheck your bank account.
  2. Engage with your credit card company; sometimes, there’s a delay before a refund reflects.
  3. Next, reach out to your bank to understand the potential processing time.
